Getting to the Strawberry Canyon Recreation Area ....
The Strawberry Canyon Recreation Area (SCRA) is located east of the
main UC Berkeley Campus on Centennial Dr.
From San Francisco, Marin, Sacramento .....
- Take I-80 to the University Ave. exit.
- Proceed east on University Ave. to the western edge of campus at
Oxford Oxford.
- At Oxford turn left and go to Hearst Ave.
- Turn right and head up the hill on Hearst.
- Go all the way up to Gayley Rd. Make a right on Gayley.
- Proceed past the Greek Theatre on your right to Stadium Rim Way.
- Turn left on Stadium Rim Way and proceed up to the stop sign. (The
Memorial Stadium will be on your right)
- Turn left on to Centennial Dr.
- Go approximately 100 yards and you will see a parking lot on the
right.
- Turn in to the lot and park .... your there! The entrance to the
Haas Clubhouse is on the far southeast end of the lot.
From Concord, Lafayette and points east ...
- Exit at Ashby Ave. (Highway 13) into Berkeley.
- Proceed on Ashby to College Ave. and turn right
- Go to Dwight Way and turn right
- Go up hill to Prospect and turn left
- Proceed around the stadium (to your left) to the first "Stop"
sign
- Turn right onto Centennial Dr.
- Go approximately 100 yds and the SCRA Parking Lot is on your right.
